Food Preservation Workshop

The Food Preservation Workshop will be on Monday, June 18, 2018, from 9:00-3:00 p.m. at Elaney Wood Farmers Market located on 470 Hwy. 13 South, Snow Hill, NC 28580.

This six-hour workshop, taught by Area Specialized Agent, Candice Christian, Consumer and Retail Food Specialist and Shenile Ford, County Extension Director will demonstrate the best practices associated of how to preserve tomatoes and green beans safely.

A light lunch will be provided or you can bring your lunch if you have special dietary needs. There will be taste testing and samples provided. Please bring an apron with you to the workshop. Register at: Greene County Cooperative Extension Center, 229 Kingold Blvd. Ste. E, Snow Hill, NC. Registration deadline is Friday, June 15th. Make checks payable to: Extension Activity Fund. Space is limited to the first ten participates that signup and pay.
